WPNB is organizing the second mini league, this time for the age groups 12U & 16U. The goal for this league is to give our youth more game playing opportunities. The games will take place at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre in Saint John on Saturday November 23rd , starting at 16:30 till 19:30.
The 16U will play in length in the deep end of the 50m pool and the 12U will play in width on the other (shallow) side of the bulkhead. Saint John and Moncton will have one team for both age groups.
12U will play the first game Saint John against Moncton, playing 7×7. After that we will split both teams up in 3 groups and make 3 kombi teams. They will play 5×5 rotating one team in after 2 periods and one team out. They will play 6 little games this way.
16U will play the first game Saint John against Moncton playing 7×7 with the shot clock. Depending on how this game goes, we will do another game like this or split both teams up and mix the teams, to make two new teams and play again. After that we will do some more fun stuff with the full group to finish up.
